Hari Raya Yang Sakan, The Countdown For My Next Holiday & The Progress of One of My AzamS!

Assalamualaikum All. Pheww, I guess this is the right time to update since 21 August. Everything is about Eid Fitr for the past 3 weeks. Best betul raya this time. Kali ni kali ke 6 Shairah celeb raya kat AUS. Hehehehe.. (Dh anta Salam Perantauan last minute, tp tak check lagi dh keluar ke tak). Haha

Zass ... let’s recall what happened since 21 Aug.. That week, I was so happy. Sebab dpt Bonus and Payrise. Ok lah 7% bonus from last Annual Salary and 3% Payrise. Alhamdulillah. Much better than last year!! (Well, Nampak gaya dorang nk suruh Shairah stay kat sini kot. Hahaha)

On  Saturday (27/08), Hanes arrived from New Zealand. For about 9 days macam tu untuk beraya kat AUS. He arrived around 8ish, lepak and check in kat Malaysian Hall, terus jalan2 ke City. Familiarisation lah kononnye. Naik bus kat mane etc.

Malam tu ada la buat makan2 sikit kat Delima Restaurant. Best ! Delima Restaurant is one my favourites place. Menu kitaorg Banquet Solo and malam tu makan : Perkedel Jagung, Ayam Minyak Wijen, Udang Goreng Mentega, Ikan Bakar Kalasan, Sapi Rendang (order Extra 2), Sop Buntut, Kangkung and extra Ayam Cabai Ijau. Memang terbaik. There were 9 of us that night J. Maghrib kat Delima Restaurant. Lps berbuka terus balik Hall and sempat solat Terawih jemaah. Mmg kenyang betul lah. Alhamdulillah seronok. Dpt meet up with few new friends.

Sempena bulan puasa jugak, Zakat Fitrah and Harta jangan dilupa. Dari banyak2 organisation, Shairah pilih International Human Relief Association Australia and Malaysia nye IRM. Okay la sikit, sebab kesian lor. Nk donate kat org2 sini, ramai hidup dah mewah. Baik focus on orphans and negara2 mcm Afghan, Somalia etc…

Ahad (28/08) as usual jalan2 lagi around City. Naik Ferry pe semua. Time ni still unsure Raya Tuesday or Wednesday. But one thing for sure, I took 2 nights off from work for Takbir Raya and Raya. Also day off utk beraya.

Isnin (29/08) kerja mcm biasa pagi tu. Malam tu pergi Hall for takbir, then lepak kat At Bangkok Thai restaurant for Pre Raya celebration. Tak de ape sgt, makan dessert pulut durian. Yummy. Dlm midnite, terus balik utk rest sebab esok siap2 nk pergi Hall.

Selasa (30/08) Hari Raya !! Pagi tengah siap2, received news dari Gedut yang Pak Long meninggal. Ermm not much to say on this. Malas nk komen ape2. So let it be. Dlm 7 lbh pegi Hall. Phew Alhamdulillah dpt saf depan. Hall penuh gak. Lps solat, khutbah ada makan2 sikit. Then chillax kat Hall for an hour before pegi Open Houses. Kenyang!! Beraya sakan sampi ke malam. Balik dalam 6pm +,  Isyak terus flat. Hahaha. Rabu kerja lor.

But then Khamis (01/09) Shairah amik day off sebab teman Hanes and member dia gi Featherdale. Pagi tu Brekky at Pancakes on the Rock dulu, then off to Featherdale. I visited this place 6.5 years ago kot masa Papa Mama and both Arwah Tok Mak Tok Yah datang. Lepak dlm 4 hours. Shairah sempat masak2 malam tu untuk bekal lunch. Memang best! Hahaha..

Jumaat (02/09), my favourite day of the week. Kerja macam biasa. Sharp 4pm, Chow! Tp kali ni pergi China Town sebab lepak2 with Hanes and Azrul for Karok. Sempat pekena Meet Fresh Taiwanese dessert for berbuka (Day 3 of Puasa 6). Karok kat K-1 murah bangat. Much better than Echo Point. $10 for 2 hours plus free soft drink/juice. Alternatively, $10 for 3 hours. Lepas karok, dinner kat Harbourside Food Court while waiting for Ilyana to arrive from Macquarie. Kitaorg naik Ferry from Darl Harb to Circ Q. Maklumlah visitors nk rase Ferry malam. The view awesome sgt!!! Smpi je Circ Q, Ilyana pn dh ada kat City. So kitaorg meet up kt Max Brenner. Mmg binge ahh!!

Sabtu & Ahad - Open houses lg. Food terbaik! Syok betul ah raya kali ni.. Malaysian Hall buat Open House lagi. Pnjg giler Queue. Ahad tu Hanes balik NZ sudeh L. And that’s the end of 1^st weekend raya. Weekdays nothing much sebab resume balik kerja day and nite. Tp Jumaat, Sabtu, Ahad bebaru ni - Open Houses - So far raya best lah. Not bad OK. Makan memang terbaik. Thanks to adik2 yang jemput. Also friends yg tak lupe invite.

Jumaat lepas, Shairah pegi medical centre to get my vaccinations as my prep to South America- mahal! Aiyak. 4 injections dlm $265. Nk nangis bile dpt quote. Haha semua gara2 South America. Called Mama tny options. Mmg buat kat Msia tak smpt. Kena a month before sebab nk bg immune tu ready once I am off to travel. Tried calling few places dptkan pricing. Pergh , blh tahan price range dia.. So semalam pergi cucuk, pergh menyengat. 2 lengan kiri, 2 lengan kanan. Skrg ni pun dh lemah gemalai je. Hehehe. I had Typhoid (tahan 3 thn), Hep A (tahan 6 bln, but kena buat 2nd injection as a booster), Yellow Fever (tahan 10 thn) and combined Tetanus, Diptheria & Pertussis (tahan 10 thn). Maybe effect dari Yellow Fever and the combined tu kot. Huhu. Apparently even kat Msia pun bukan senang2 org blh dpt Yellow Fever punya injection. Sape2 nk travel to South America, Expat2 Msia je. Hihi

Since Winter dh official habis, as I promised to myself. Buat fun dives!! Sabtu baru ni my adventure dives – Awesome sebab gune DPV – Dive Propulsion Vehicle. Sgt unique ! Also known as an underwater propulsion vehicle or underwater scooter. Dia blh jadi guide utk nk dive or kite boleh mount on it. Ni mmg sesuai utk pemalas2 masa dive. Hahaha . Blk tu agak flat jugak la. Bese la main dgn air ni mmg macam tu. Shairah dpt 2 session on that day. Diving was at Camp Cove, Watson’s Bay! ( The place I did my 1^st & 2^nd dives towards Open Water Cert last Dec 2010). Also kat sini jugak la tgk sunset ngn Bb in Dec 2010 jugak during his visit Down Under !!! Setakat ni total diving 19! (3 discovery and 16 certified dives)/ More to come!!

 

Malam Open House then chillax. Ahad mmg spend time dating oL ngn BB.. Tghr tu Open House je. So it was a relax weekend. Hehhe

17 Sep - lagi 25 days nk balik cuti. Yeye. Now Shairah dh start prep nk balik Msia for 2 weeks. Then to South America!! Shopping - online, in store. Phew macam2 ok> most of the barang2 yg org kirim I will try to fulfil. Tp tgk lah. Mmg Shairah x plan nk bawak balik barang sgt sebab nk shopping (descent) clothing & scarfs cantik2 kat Msia!!

An update to my wedding prep – Lalala. Best ah ! Dh email bridal services of the desired designs of dress and pelamin and deco. Hehe simple2 je. Cant wait to wait for the final pricing. Hehe senang nk budget2. Cewah, mcm tahun ni lak nk kawen. Grrrr. Lagi cepat lagi bagus. Bak kate BB, why not if blh diawalkn ?

Alhamdulillah. Bulan Puasa ni Shairah slow2 dh start pakai tudung. Heeeee. It's one of my azam tahun ni ..  Most places, keluar berjalan mmg berazam to be good. Cuma pegi keje je blm lg. Huhu. X pe.. Insya Allah, doakan yang terbaik. Rasa syukur sebab still ada kawan2 yang support and yang penting kita kena pandai cari kawan.

1) Kalau kita berubah untuk jadi baik, Allah akan hantar orang2 yang baik utk bersama2 kita


2) Orang akan menilai kita melalui pakaian kita, sebab pakaian kita ini menzahirkan siapa kita


3) Apabila mereka tertipu di dunia ini dan merasakan bahawa keseronokan dunia ini - pergi kelab malam, pergi minum arak, pergi tengok konsert, inilah yang mereka merasakan bahawa yang memberikan mereka kegembiraan. Tetapi kan, bila habis je, mereka dah tak gembira. Bila dah habis je satu function tu dah tak de seronok2 tu, mereka tak gembira. Cari lagi cari lagi. Sampai bila?
